Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Ranked Among Top 10 Best in Africa

NAIROBI, Kenya, April 18- Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has secured the 10th position in Skytrax’s ranking of the best airports in Africa.

The list, compiled by the UK-based aviation consultancy firm, places South Africa’s airports in the top three spots. Cape Town International Airport, the continent’s third-largest, clinched the top position, followed by King Shaka International Airport in Durban at second place, and O.R Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg at third.

Casablanca, housing Mohammed V International and Anfa Airport, claimed the fourth spot, while Mauritius, with Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport as its main hub, ranked fifth, with Gaetan Duval Airport catering to domestic flights.

Marrakech, Morocco’s fourth-largest city, secured sixth place with Marrakech Menara Airport. Addis Ababa’s Bole Airport, formerly known as Haile Selassie I International Airport, ranked seventh.

Kigali and Cairo rounded off the list at eighth and ninth positions, hosting Kigali International Airport and Cairo International and Cairo West Airports, respectively. Notably, Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg also made it to the top 100 airports worldwide, ranking at 54, 72, and 83, respectively.
