Moi University Bus Travelling to Mombasa Involved in an Accident on Nakuru-Nairobi Highway

NAIROBI, Kenya, March 27- A Moi University-owned bus has been involved in an accident on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway. The incident occurred near Limuru at the Kimende area on Wednesday, March 27, while the bus was carrying students to Mombasa.

Initial reports suggest that the driver attempted to overtake another vehicle but lost control while returning to the lane, causing the bus to swerve off the road and into a ditch.

As of the time of reporting, there have been no reported casualties, although some students aboard sustained minor injuries.

Police officers have been dispatched to the scene to manage traffic and coordinate the rescue efforts on the busy highway.
