NAIROBI, Kenya January 8- Salvation Healing Ministry church founder, Victor Kanyari, recently opened up about the tragic night of his sister’s death, revealing the distressing details of the events leading to her untimely demise.

During an emotional church service documented on Shifu TV and shared on TikTok, Kanyari disclosed that his sister, Starlet Wahu Mwangi, had been a university graduate residing in the USA for an extended period.

In his narrative, Kanyari described how Starlet, a socialite with over three million Instagram followers, fell victim to a deceptive online relationship with a man named Matara. Unbeknownst to her, the man’s intentions were solely focused on financial gain.

“My sister was a socialite, and she boasted about her luxurious lifestyle on Instagram. You know how these days, girls are drawn to wealth. The man deceived her, posing as a wealthy individual, and lured her to an Airbnb,” shared Kanyari on TikTok.

Recounting the tragic events of that fateful night, Kanyari revealed, “After spending time together, they went to sleep, and my sister tried calling me around 2 am, but I missed the call. At 3 am, the man demanded KSh 500,000 from her, but my sister, being resilient, resisted.”

He continued, “The confrontation escalated, resulting in a physical altercation. The man brandished a knife and viciously stabbed Wahu three times, targeting her neck and thighs. After the assault, he locked the door with a padlock, trapping Wahu inside and preventing her escape.”

Expressing the sorrow of the situation, Kanyari stated, “It’s a profoundly tragic story, and though it’s disheartening to see negative comments on social media, it’s something we have to face. Unfortunately, she lost her life on the spot. In response to the media’s inquiries, I swiftly discussed with my family, and we hastily organized her burial the following Saturday at 8 am, attended by a small group of 20 people.”

Providing insight into the hasty burial, Kanyari explained that they chose an early interment on January 6 to avoid public scrutiny and embarrassment from the media, which had already started posing questions about the tragic incident.
