NAIROBI, Kenya, October 19 – After breaking into a woman’s car for a parking infraction, a Nairobi City Council officer known as kanjo found himself in an uncomfortable circumstance.

The unusual meeting between the cop and the woman was caught on camera and posted by Ntazola Gloria. The video of the incident rapidly gained popularity but she has since lost her account after the sharing the post.

She claimed that the officer had been a thorn in her flesh, and she had just had enough and decided to take matters into her own hands.

“That guy entered my car forcefully, without permission, while I was trying to park it in town. That was not his first time; he’s done that to me a lot of times, so I was just tired of him. I’m safe and okay by I’ve lost my TikTok account, but that’s okay. At least people have seen what these guys do to other people. How they treat people is not cool,” she said.

She further appealed to Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja to restore order within the county askaris, adding that they were harassing Kenyans.

The incident started when the police entered the lady’s car following a parking violation.

The woman was naturally shocked and inquired about the officer’s behaviour right away.

She explained that she had not committed any offence to warrant him entering her car. In the video, she can be heard expressing her frustration.

“Why have you got into my car? Why are you people like that? Was that an offence to make you get into my car? I’m going with you to my destination because why would you get into my car? Are you a traffic police?” she asked.
