Bolt Suspends Inappropriate Driver After Disturbing Sexual Incident with Female Passenger Goes Viral

NAIROBI, Kenya, October 24- Bolt, the cab hailing app have suspended an inappropriate driver who was seen exposing his privates while driving a female passenger.
When the woman instantly told the driver to stop the car and drop them off, the driver in the now-viral video unbuttoned his trousers.
“Why are you undressing?” the woman questioned the driver. Drop me there,” she said, motioning to her friend in the backseat and saying, “Sally! This dude is naked and lit. Then, she told the driver to “Drop me.”
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko later posted the offensive video on X, now known as Twitter, which caused Bolt to retaliate.
Bolt said that appropriate action has been taken on the driver and he has been banned from providing any services on their platform.
“We are also actively engaging with the affected rider, and once again take this opportunity to express our sincere concern and empathy over this unfortunate incident,” said Bolt.
They asserted that they value the safety of their customers and will never tolerate such behaviour from their drivers.
